Camp Locations

Camp Hawthorne is a large, well-equipped SDA campground perfect for big retreats and events. It has a conference center that seats up to 4,000, its own baptistry, A/C cabins, private rooms, gym, basketball courts, skating rink, waterfront access, and nature trails. Whether for Pathfinder Classic (Labor Day Weekend) or Conference Youth Convocation (January/February), it gives space for fun, spiritual renewal, and fellowship.

Camp Kulaqua is over 600 acres with adventure built in—zip-lining, horseback riding, go-karts, canoeing, and a water-park among its features. It also has lodging in cabins, lodges, and campsites for large groups. Ideal for a longer trip where you want both high-energy activities and time for worship, nature walks, and spiritual growth. Pathfinder Red Zone is held here in May/June.

Magnolia Park is great for short, skills-focused weekend trips since it’s so close. The site has 18 shaded campsites under oak trees, large group sites (35- and 65-campers), showers, restrooms, picnic grills, and fire rings. There's also access to Lake Apopka for boating and to the Apopka Loop Trail for hiking or biking, which adds flexibility in activities.

City of Apopka's Camp Wewa has all the essentials and more for Pathfinders: cabins, a swimming pool, dining hall, and outdoor spaces for games. It works well when you want both structured programs (archery, fishing) and quieter moments (worship, honors) without traveling far.

This camp is tucked in forest near Pierson, and it’s ideal for Pathfinders who want a mix of outdoor thrills and spiritual growth. The site offers hiking trails, canoeing/fishing, archery, and waterfront fun. It’s often used for larger gatherings and trusted by the Pathfinder leadership—good for leadership building, faith lessons, and outdoor skills.

Wekiwa Springs is a beloved nature haven perfect for Pathfinder weekends. You can swim in the crystal-clear springs, paddle canoes or kayaks in Wekiva Springs Run, hike among hardwood hammocks and sandhills, or ride horses along scenic trails. The campground (60 wooded sites) offers water, electric hookups, picnic tables, fire rings, restrooms and showers; there are also primitive and equestrian campsites and group facilities. It’s an excellent mix of adventure, outdoor skills, wildlife, and peaceful settings for worship or honors under the stars.

The Westmonte Recreation Center (not a campsite) is a modern, full-service facility right here in Altamonte Springs that has got something for everyone. It features outdoor and therapeutic pools (including a zero-depth play area), courts for basketball, tennis, pickleball & bocce, a large multi-purpose room, playground, pavilion & even a field for open recreation. 

It’s a perfect spot for our swimming honor, basketball tournament, and fun games!
